Usual wear
A well-applied semi-permanent manicure normally stays neat for several weeks, but the exact wear time is personal. Nail type, growth speed, daily products and how much you use your hands all matter.
On very thin, flexible or weakened nails, it can be better to shorten the time between appointments or choose a more structured service.
When to book again
The right moment is when regrowth becomes too visible, when an edge starts catching, or when the length no longer feels comfortable. Waiting too long can shift the balance of the application and increase the risk of breakage.
If you wear dark or high-contrast colors, regrowth is visible sooner. In that case, it is often easier to plan the next appointment before leaving the salon.
Good habits
Hydrating cuticles, wearing gloves for cleaning products and avoiding using nails as tools all help preserve the result. Small daily gestures matter: opening boxes, scratching labels or pulling a lifted edge can weaken the manicure.
What to avoid
Do not peel off semi-permanent polish. Even a small lifted area can take layers of the natural nail with it. Clean professional removal protects the nail plate and gives a better base for the next application.
