Semi-permanent polish
Semi-permanent polish is a good choice if your natural nails are already reasonably strong and you mainly want a clean, glossy color that lasts longer than classic polish. It feels lighter than a gel structure and suits clients who prefer a natural, elegant result with regular maintenance.
It works especially well when the nail shape is already balanced and when you want to change color without adding length or changing the architecture of the nail.
Gel
Gel gives more structure. It can reinforce a fragile nail plate, correct the shape, create extensions or support a longer result. It is often the better option if nails break easily, if you want more length, or if the result needs a stronger architecture.
Gel also requires consistent maintenance. A refill is usually planned every three to four weeks depending on growth and daily habits.
How to choose
The right choice depends on three things: the condition of your nails, your lifestyle and the result you want to see when you leave the salon. For a natural finish on healthy nails, semi-permanent polish is often enough. For length, strength or correction, gel is usually more suitable.

What protects your nails
Wear and nail health depend heavily on preparation and removal. Avoid peeling the product at home, because it can remove layers of the natural nail and make the next application less stable. Professional removal gives a cleaner base.
